Virtual Psychotherapy For Women & Mothers Based in New York City

A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she will without pretense and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself and only herself. - Maya Angelou
About Me
Working many years on the front lines taught me one absolute truth: women don't need to be fixed. They need to remember their own power.
Long before opening my virtual practice in New York City, I spent over a decade working in grassroots syringe exchanges and harm reduction centers across the city. I sat face-to-face with women, pregnant women, and mothers navigating the absolute hardest edges of life. That work stripped away all the sterile, clinical pretense of traditional mental health care. It taught me what real, grounded support looks like, and how profoundly society fails women by offering quick-fix band-aids or cold clinical labels instead of actual sanctuary.
I created this practice because I got tired of seeing women handed therapy models that ask them to shrink, adjust, and fit neatly into a system that was never designed with their holistic well-being in mind.
In our sessions, we will delve into your individual needs across womanhood in general—whether your journey includes self-discovery, pregnancy, motherhood, perimenopause, or a life where motherhood is not part of your path, now or ever. Together, we explore all the honest, unvarnished sides of these experiences.
Chapters like pregnancy, motherhood, postpartum, and perimenopause aren't just one thing; they are rich with contradiction, challenge, and immense power. Society has largely denied women access to understanding the true strength and metamorphic wisdom of these seasons, and my practice is designed to help you reclaim them, whatever your unique landscape looks like.
To help you uncover the root of your pain, attachments, behaviors, and perspectives, I draw from a rich toolkit of clinical approaches—including Brainspotting, talk therapy, somatic interventions, and trauma-informed care. But because most mainstream modalities were never built with women in mind, I implement these approaches in a way that is entirely geared specifically for women: relational, fluid, and deeply intuitive. This is profound, transformative work, even when it feels comfortable, conversational, and effortless rather than heavy or clinical. My practice is grounded in compassion and curiosity, ensuring that you never feel judged or pathologized.
It’s a space to step out from under the expectations that have worn you down, silence the noise of what you're "supposed" to be doing, and safely unlock doors to parts of yourself you haven't met yet. All walks of life are welcome here. Our work together is deep and transformative, but it is also marked by comfort, humor, warmth, and celebration. You deserve to learn about and take care of yourself—let’s uncover all the layers that make you uniquely you.
